The Lilac can grow as a large, upright shrub
or as a small tree. It has bunches of tiny,
scented flowers. Each flower has four petals
and the leaves are heart-shaped.
The Delphinium is a herbaceous plant
with deeply-toothed leaves. It has a long
spike of flowers, with small flowering
side shoots. The flowers can
also be red, mauve or white.

This is a bushy annual plant, which has
large, daisy-like flowers and oval, hairy
leaves. It is grown in borders and in pots.

spreads easily. It has narrow, toothed
leaves. Its small, delicate flowers
