Firefly
Location
Fireflies are found on grasses, shrubs and
trees in woodlands, fields and gardens.
Food
Fireflies eat insects with soft bodies
and sometimes snails or slugs.
Movement
Male Fireflies fly but the female
cannot. At night, they flash their
abdominal "lights" at each other.
