The Fungi Kingdom
An organism of the Fungi Kingdom
has many cells. Fungi cannot make their
own food. Fungi give off enzymes which
break down food into small molecules
outside the body of the fungus.
These food molecules are then absorbed
into the body of fungus. In the cell structure
of the fungus there is a membrane around
the nucleus. Fungi cannot move on their own.
Nearly all fungi live on land, but there
are a few fungi that live in water. All
fungi form spores during their life cycle.
Fungi do not develop from seeds.
