KINGDOM PROKARYOTAE
Phylum Cyanobacteria
Cyanobacteria photosynthesize
in the same general way that plants
photosynthesize. Cyanobacteria take
water and carbon dioxide and, with
sunlight and chlorophyll, change
them into stored food for energy.
Some cynobacteria can use
hydrogen sulfide instead of water
in photosynthesis. Oxygen is produced
when cynobacteria photosynthesize.
