Phylum Myxomycota
Myxomycota are sometimes called
slime mold. The myxomycota
have an amoeba stage in which
there are no cell walls.
Myxomycota then goes through a stalk
stage which looks very much like a fungus.
Spores germinate and the amoeba-like
stage of the myxomycota begins.
