Modern Clothing
Modern people enjoy greater freedom
than ever to wear simple, inexpensive styles
of clothes. By the middle of the 1800's all men
wore trousers, and about one hundred years later,
all clothes were made by machines. Clothes made
from nylon and other synthetic fabrics are easily
washed and dried. Many clothes available in
stores today do not need to be ironed.
