Hypocrateriform

The shape of the flower is hypocrateriform
when the corolla is in the form of a slender
tube and spreads at the top border.

Greek : hypo - below; krater - cup  


Rotate

 The shape of the flower is rotate
when the corolla are arranged
like the spokes of a wheel.

Latin : rota wheel.

 

Personate

 The shape of the flower is personate
when the corolla is in the form of open
lips with a bulge below the lower lip.

Latin : personatus - masked


Urceolate

 The shape of the flower is urceolate
 when the corolla is in the form of a bulge
at the bottom and contraction at the top.

Latin : urceolus - a small waterspout.


Labiate

 The shape of the flower is labilate when
the corolla has five irregular petals in the
form of open lips. the upper lip is formed by
the fusion of two petals. The lower lip is
formed by the fusion of three petals.

 The shape of the flower is spurred
when the corolla is in the form a spur.

Middle English: spura - a spur.

 The shape of the flower is tubular 
when the corolla is in the form a tube.

Latin: tubus - a tube


Imbutiform

  The shape of the flower is imbutiform 
when the corolla is in the form a funnel.

Latin: imtubus - a funnel


Ligulate

  The shape of the flower is ligulate
when the corolla is in the form a strap.

Latin: lingua - tongue


Campanulate

  The shape of the flower is campanulate 
when the corolla is in the form a bell.
