Christian was well known during Medieval times.
It taught people that life on earth is not as important
as life after death. People worked hard to follow
Christian beliefs in order to be rewarded with life
after death. In these very troubled times, the
church was the only stable institution. Priests
and monks had a strong influence over
the life style of the people.
