Greek or Roman Religion
The Greeks or Romans thought of their gods
as very powerful people who lived forever.
They believed that all the gods loved on top
of Mount Olympus and came down from time
to time to visit people. Huge statues were
carved out of marble and many temples
were built in honor of their gods.
