Temperate Forests
These forested areas have seasonal
temperature changes.Deciduous trees loose
their leaves in the winter and conifers stay
green through the year. They both grow
in areas that have plenty of rainfall.
One type of temperate forest is
characterized by hardwoods and on
undergrowth of plant life that supports many
different animals. Another the coniferous
forest, does not support an undergrowth
and, therefore , not as much animal life.
