Pistil

 The pistil is a part of the flower.
The pistil is the female part of the flower.
The pistil is the seed bearing organ of a
flower. A simple pistil is also called a carpel.
  
Latin : pistillum - pestle.

Carpel

 The carpel is a one-celled
organ that produces the ovule.

Ovary

  The ovary is a part of the pistil.
The ovary is the enlarged part at the
bottom of the pistil. The ovary contains
the ovules which form the seeds.

Latin : ovum - egg:ovarium
           -receptacle of eggs.

Ovule

The ovule a part of the immature
seed produced by the carpel.

Stigma

  The stigma is a part of the pistil.
The stigma is at the top of the pistil.
The stigma receives the pollen.
The surface of the stigma is moist.

Style

  The style is a part of the pistil.
The style is the stalk of the pistil.
