Planets : Saturn
Saturn is surrounded by a series of bright
rings. The rings are 10 miles thick and are
composed of swarms of stony meteorites;
these meteorites are probably fragments
of a moon which was so close the
tidal forces disrupted it.
Beyond the rings, Saturn has seventeen
moons. Saturn's diameter is ten times longer
than that of Earth. Saturn orbits the sun in
29.46 years. Saturn rotates once on its own
axis in 10.7 hours. Its temperature is -300
degree Fahrenheit. Saturn has violent storms.
