The Southern Ocean
The Southern Ocean, is also known as
the Antarctic Ocean, and is made up of
the waters that surround the Antarctic
continent. Its boundaries in the north are
the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific oceans.
It is the youngest of all the other oceans
in the world, and it is famous for the
Antarctic Bottom Water, a very cold, very
salty, heavy water that forms under the sea ice.
